So, after all that, here are couple pointers I thought about during and after the experience:

• For footwear, if it’s a bathhouse, scandals make sense.  If it’s an open setting like this location was, your options are shoes or sandals.  The pro’s of scandals is you can take them off easily but it also means you can’t as easily mount a bench or couch.  Also, I saw a really smart move by some guys where they kept their poppers in their socks when they were wearing shoes - revolutionary honestly.
